A Mad Hatter Inspired Brunch Wedding

Hayley & Phil hired me to be the day-of wedding co-ordinator for their Mad Hatter inspired wedding, held earlier this year.  Hayley was a super organised bride, with a clear vision of what she wanted, which is so important when only hiring a day-of planner.  It is imperative that you paint a very clear picture and hand over all relevant information, in order for your day to be executed flawlessly.

Hayley and Phil decided to have a morning ceremony and a brunch reception, which many couples are opting for these days.  There are many benefits to having a morning wedding.  It is more affordable than having a 3-course dinner.  Couples who opt for morning weddings don’t fall into bed exhausted, at the early hours of the morning, and they actually get to spend some time together on their first day of being married.   You are also able to zoot off to you honeymoon straight away, which is what Hayley & Phil did.

Here are some images from their wedding, held at the Durban Country club.  I just loved the floral designs and the little “eat me” jars of sweets.

Thanks to Hayley & Phil for choosing me to be a part of your special day!  I hope that married life has been treating you well.
